Every Carmanya piece is handcrafted by artisans. We maintain a rigorous quality control process to ensure every item we ship meets our high standards. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations are to be expected and are a celebrated part of the unique story of your piece.

What Qualifies as a Defect?

A product is considered defective if it has a significant manufacturing flaw or was damaged upon arrival. This includes:

  • Significant stitching flaws that compromise the product's integrity.

  • Broken hardware (zippers, hooks, clasps) upon arrival.

  • Receiving an item that is different from what you ordered.

What is Not Considered a Defect?

Our products are made from natural materials and are entirely handmade. The following are not considered defects:

  • Minor variations in color from product images due to lighting or screen settings.

  • Natural characteristics of leather, such as small scars, marks, or variations in texture.

  • Slight irregularities in stitching or finishing that are characteristic of a handmade item.

How to Report a Defect

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. You must report any damage or defects to us within 48 hours of receiving the item.

To report an issue, please email us at support@carmanya.in with the following:

  1. Your Order Number.

  2. Clear photographs of the defect.

  3. A clear photograph of the outer packaging (carton and labels).

Resolution for Defects

Once our team has reviewed your claim, we will contact you with a resolution.

  • If a defect is confirmed, we will offer a replacement for the exact same item.

  • If a replacement item is not available, we will issue you a store credit for the full amount.
